The cold which began over a week ago lingers and seems to have no intention of moving on. But, I’m getting a chance to redeem myself over the next 3 days especially after working three 12 hour plus work days and being on the road.
I was pretty excited about going to Hershey for CATS but the wind was slowly taken out of my sails all week on that little notion. As the week went on and complications set in with getting there on Thursday or Friday, and feeling pretty crappy from the cold, I started doing the math…the only down side which was a big one in the quality stitching time aspect, was missing an opportunity to sit and stitch with a friend or two and share the love of the craft with others. How lucky are those ladies who have significant others in their life that will drive them up to such an event and then go off and keep himself occupied around the area while we do our bonding in a stitcher’s lounge? I could only be so blessed and fortunate.
Oh! I had a request for my color conversions for Cricket’s, “Quote the Raven” (previous entry below). You can find that info here. Thanks to all for your kind compliments of this quick and fun little stitch. I’m off to try and go back to sleep (ugh!) and then later comandeer a Kleenex box and a corner to stitch in for a few hours. Enjoy the weekend….Fall is definitely starting to show signs here in NoVA in spite of the 91 degree weather we had this past few days. This morning …it’s a chilly 59….nice.
So long for now.
